Horinouchi Food Processing Cooperative was established. Started manufacturing wild vegetable boiled canned products and chicken processed canned products.

Reorganized into Niigata Prefecture Chicken Processing and Sales Utilization Federation Horinouchi Factory.

Reorganized into Niigata Prefecture Economic Federation Horinouchi Factory.

Established by local volunteers as Horinouchi Canning Co., Ltd. Purchased the meat canning manufacturing business, factory, and equipment from Niigata Prefecture Economic Federation, and started manufacturing of meat canned products such as Yamato-ni and corned beef, mainly. Started operations as headquarters and first factory.

Changed the company name to Holika Foods Co., Ltd. due to business expansion.

Changed the company name to Horikafu Co., Ltd. due to expansion of business activities.

Started manufacturing and selling the Rescue Foods series (disaster and emergency foods).

Started manufacturing and selling Rescue Foods series (disaster and emergency foods). Selling Rescue Foods single meal box curry rice.

Established a new manufacturing plant for the PLC Rice series.

Water Village Factory began operations. Started manufacturing and selling the PLC Rice series (low-protein rice), and expanded the aseptic filling line for liquid and puree foods.

Established a new manufacturing line for jelly cup foods at Water Village Factory.

Opened the Holika Foods Thailand Office.
