沿革
In 2008-2009, the Galle Heritage Foundation carried out the conservation of 55 residential buildings within the Galle Fort with funding assistance from the Dutch Government.
In 2010, the Galle Heritage Foundation implemented the rescue conservation of the Dutch Hospital in partnership with ICOMOS Sri Lanka, with funding assistance from the World Monument Fund and American Express Bank.
During 2020-2022, the Galle Heritage Foundation acted as the joint client with the Department of Archaeology in conserving, landscaping, and interpretive presentation of the defense work of the Galle Fort, with financial assistance from the World Bank.
In 2022-23, the Galle Heritage Foundation conserved the Police Barracks of Church Street, enabling adaptive re-use.
