In May 2010, the company name was changed to Toray Advanced Materials Korea. During a press conference in Seoul announcing this, then President Sadakichiro Sakakibara stated, "The point that has supported Korea's economic growth for over 40 years is not seeking short-term profits as a company, but developing together with the economy and society from a long-term perspective, which is Toray's management philosophy."

In May 2010, the company name was changed to Toray Advanced Materials Korea.
