Kyungdong Navien has entered into a business agreement with the Korea Interior Design Association (KAID). The two parties agreed to expand the distribution of living air solutions, which include dehumidification, ventilation, air purification, and bathroom air quality management, and to cooperate in creating a comfortable living environment.
The ‘Hangeul Festa 2026’ organized by the foundation Hangeul Nuri concluded successfully. This competition received video works utilizing Hangeul or Nuri Hangeul from 58 countries in 55 languages. The contest was conducted in the Hangeul category and the Nuri Hangeul category.
Kyungdong Navien was selected as the number one in the KCSI Boiler Division for 13 consecutive years in 2026. KCSI is organized by Korea Efficiency Association Consulting and measures customer satisfaction levels for products and services across domestic industries. Since developing the first condensing boiler in Asia, the company has led the eco‑friendly, high‑efficiency boiler market, and its "Navien Condensing ON AI" features a hot‑water ready system that reduces hot‑water standby time.
The company KD Navien received the "Good Design Korea 2025" award for the high-quality industrial design of two products: the all-season Navien Air mattress and the smart Navien door lock. The award, established in 1985, is the most prestigious national design competition organized by the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Kyungdong Navien's NXW700 dual‑fuel heat pump hybrid water heater won the grand prize at the "2026 Integrated Home Solution Competition" held in the United States. The NXW700 combines a 120V plug‑in electric heat pump with a high‑efficiency gas combustion system in a single unit. The competition was organized by CEE, the leading organization in the North American energy efficiency market.
Kyungdong Navien is introducing its bathroom air quality management solution, “Navien Bathcare,” as a subscription service and will also offer bundle discounts when customers subscribe to multiple products. Navien Bathcare manages humidity, cold air, odors, and other bathroom conditions with four modes: dehumidifying, warm air, drying, and ventilation.
Kyungdong Navien has launched the Navien air-source water heater (PCW351), which uses a hybrid system combining a heat pump and an electric heater. Under normal conditions, it produces hot water using heat energy from the air; when demand surges, the electric heater provides backup to help ensure a fast and stable supply of hot water. Following its air-source heat pump boiler, the company plans to expand its heat pump product range and promote electrification in heating and hot water.
Kyungdong Navien has launched the 'Navien Sleep Mat' in hot-water type (EMW723) and carbon type (EME652P) featuring Australian wool filling. Both models use a soft cotton blend fabric for the cover that comes into contact with the skin, and maintain a plush cushion feel thanks to the elasticity and resilience of wool, while their moisture absorption, moisture release, and breathability properties help create a comfortable sleeping environment.
Kyungdong Navien has launched a Mudeokt installation solution that allows dehumidification and ventilation cleaning units to be installed without ceiling duct work. By applying a window frame kit and an integrated supply/exhaust diffuser, dehumidification and ventilation can be achieved even in homes without ducts. Depending on installation conditions, the work can be completed in a day, or as quickly as half a day, and the scope has been expanded to include both multi-family housing and single-family homes.
Kyungdong Navien is operating a Navien pop-up at Daejeon Shinsegae Art & Science through September 3. Visitors can see and experience the company’s home air solutions, Four Seasons Sleep Mattress, and Bath Care bathroom ventilation appliances firsthand. This is the fourth event, following pop-ups at The Hyundai Seoul, Hyundai Department Store Pangyo, and the Apgujeong Main Store.
