In celebration of Black History Month, Halliburton’s BELIEVE employee resource group (ERG) hosted an Energy Panel Discussion: “Diverse Perspectives on the Energy Industry, Technology Advancements, and Industry Trends.” The esteemed panel included Black business owners, innovators, and industry professionals who discussed emerging trends in sustainability and digitalization, as well as challenges and opportunities in the energy sector.

Heart Health & Wellness Fair: This year, Valentine’s Day was filled with more than cards and candy. Instead, BELIEVE focused on heart healthy activities and information sessions to help employees make incremental lifestyle changes and prevent chronic illness. Participants learned regular health screenings, cooking with healthy, whole foods, and a fitness routine are the first line of defense against heart disease, diabetes, and other chronic conditions that disproportionately impact people of color.

Art & Social Event: A group of employees gathered to explore the Kinsey African American Art & History Collection on display at the Holocaust Museum Houston and attended an art discussion with local artist, Ava Cosey. Cosey discussed her process, inspiration, and the cultural significance of her work.
