Poxel appointed Laure-Hélène Mercier as Chair of its Board of Directors, effective September 3, 2026, replacing Sophie Jacq Lapointe. The company said the governance change aims to strengthen financial oversight, enhance governance, and foster dialogue with the market and shareholders.
TWYMEEG® consolidated sales in Japan reached ¥2.9 billion (€15.5 million) in the second quarter of 2026, up 32% year over year, and ¥5.2 billion (€28.2 million) in the first half, up 34%. Sumitomo Pharma expects sales to exceed ¥10 billion in its 2026 financial year. Poxel also announced that publication of its 2025 financial statements has been postponed.
Poxel appointed Yves Decadt as Chief Executive Officer, effective June 10, 2026. He succeeds Nicolas Trouche, whose role supported the company through the restructuring period that began in August 2025 and implementation of its Continuation Plan. The previously agreed transition is proceeding on schedule.
Poxel generated €1.277 million in revenue in the first quarter of 2026. Consolidated Japanese sales of TWYMEEG reached JPY 2.3 billion, up 36% year over year; Sumitomo Pharma reported TWYMEEG sales of JPY 9.35 billion for fiscal 2025, up 40%, and expects moderate double-digit growth slightly above 10%. Poxel received royalties of 10% on TWYMEEG net sales during Sumitomo Pharma’s fiscal 2025.
Poxel SA postponed publication of its 2025 annual financial statements and annual financial report because additional time is needed to finalize the accounting treatment of several significant transactions following the Lyon Commercial Court’s approval of its continuation plan on January 22, 2026.
Poxel will sell PXL770, a clinical-stage AMPK activator being developed for autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD), to Scynexis. The deal includes an $8 million upfront payment, up to $8 million in near-term development milestone payments, and up to $180 million in commercial milestone payments; a Phase 2 proof-of-concept study is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Poxel announced that it signed an additional Tranche D PDR bond financing with IPF for €3.75 million. The financing is part of the continuation plan validated by the Court of Economic Activities of Lyon, and the Tranche D PDR bonds already issued and to be issued are simple bonds.
Poxel reported that gross sales of TWYMEEG in Japan rose 15.0% in Q4 2025 from the previous quarter and 40% year over year. The company generated €5.0 million in 2025 revenue from royalties equal to 10% of TWYMEEG net sales. Cash and cash equivalents totaled €0.9 million as of December 31, 2025.
Poxel announced an equity line with IRIS Capital, known as SmartATM®, for a maximum of €5 million over five years as part of its recovery plan. The stated amount is not guaranteed.
The Commercial Court of Lyon ratified Poxel SA’s recovery plan and discharged the company from judicial reorganisation proceedings. The decision closes the observation period opened on August 5, 2025, and enables Poxel to implement its recovery plan.
