In December 2022, Alcantara continued its partnership with the MAXXI Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo through the fifth edition of Studio Visit. The exhibition, curated by Domitilla Dardi, featured contemporary designers interpreting works by masters in the MAXXI Architecture Collections. Lara Lesmes and Fredrik Hellberg of Space Popular explored and interpreted Aldo Rossi's work, reflecting on Rossi’s concepts of ‘urban artefact’ and ‘analogous city’ as references for the virtual city. The exhibition aimed to mirror Rossi’s ideas on the city as a sequence of spatial events and was part of the MAXXI Architecture permanent collection, open to the public from 7 December 2022 to 15 January 2023. |
