2004年に日本初の有料老人ホーム投資ファンドを設立（流動化事業）

2005年に投資ファンド向けレジデンス開発を開始（流動化事業）

2006年に上海で複合商業施設「diage」開業

Opened “diage”, a commercial facilities complex in Shanghai; Opened KidZania Tokyo, undertaking sponsor development, content development and design work

2009年にコクヨ株式会社を100%親会社とする株式会社都市デザインシステムを設立。同年3月に営業権を取得

Established Urban Design System Co. Ltd. as a corporate entity with Kokuyo Co. Ltd. as a wholly-owned subsidiary; obtained business concession rights in March

2010年にリラックス食堂運営事業を開始

2010年にホテル・レストラン運営事業を開始（「ホテル カンラ 京都」開業）

Began Relax Shokudo business operations; Began hotel restaurant business operations (starting with Hotel Kanra Kyoto)

2011年にシェアハウス事業を開始（「アンテルーム アパートメント 京都」開業）

Began shared house business operations (starting with Anteroom Apartment Kyoto); Began hostel management business operations (starting with GRIDS Akihabara); Began Afterschool operations (starting with Ricoh Coscie)

2012年に株式会社都市デザインシステムからUDS株式会社へ社名変更

Changed company name from Urban Design System Co. Ltd. to UDS Co. Ltd.

2013年にコワーキングスペース事業を開始（「LEAGUE」開業）

2013年に中国北京に誉都思建筑咨洵（北京）有限公司を設立

Began Co-working space business operations (starting with LEAGUE); Established UDS CO. LTD. (China) in Beijing

2014年に鹿児島県薩摩川内市より企画・設計・運営を受託（「薩摩川内市スマートハウス」開業）

Undertook contract planning, design and operation project for Satsumasendai, Kagoshima prefecture (starting with the Satsumasendai Smart House project)

2015年に小田急電鉄株式会社がコクヨ株式会社が保有する当社株式の90%を取得

2015年に東京都練馬区よりJV PLAYTANKとして公園運営を受託（「練馬区立こどもの森」開園）

2015年にホステル運営事業を開始（「GRIDS秋葉原」開業）

2015年にアフタースクール事業を開始（「コサイエ」開業）

Odakyu Electric Railway Co. Ltd. acquired 90% of UDS shares from Kokuyo Co. Ltd.; Undertook JV PLAYTANK public park operations on contract for Nerima ward, Tokyo; Began hostel and afterschool business operations

2016年に小田急電鉄株式会社がコクヨ株式会社が保有する当社株式の10％を取得

2016年に沖縄に沖縄UDS株式会社を設立

Odakyu Electric Railway Co. Ltd. acquired 10% of UDS shares from Kokuyo Co. Ltd.; Established OKINAWA UDS Ltd.

2017年に株式会社サンマルタよりレゴ®クリックブリック7店舗、レゴ®スクール1店舗を事業譲受し、運営を開始

2017年にアンテナショップ「ここ滋賀」開業

Acquired seven LEGO®clickbrick stores and one LEGO®school from Sanmalta Co.,Ltd. and began business operations; Began local speciality shop business operations (starting with COCOSHIGA)

2018年に学生寮事業を開始（「NODE GROWTH 湘南台」開業）

2018年に北京で運営事業を開始（「MUJI HOTEL BEIJING」開業）

2018年に韓国UDS株式会社を設立　※株式譲渡により現在は資本関係を解消

2019年にチョコレートショップ事業を開始（「nel CRAFT CHOCOLATE TOKYO」開業）

2019年に旅館事業を開始（「ONSEN RYOKAN 由縁 新宿」開業）

2020年に居住型教育施設事業を開始（「SHIMOKITA COLLEGE」開業）

2021年に施工チームを新設し内装設計施工業務の受託を開始

2024年に野村不動産ホールディングス株式会社が当社株式の100％を取得
