Magsaysay MOL Marine, Inc. (MMM) was established in June 1997 aiming at enhancing the long time partnership between Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC), the number one in shipping landscape in the Philippines, and MOL Tokyo in Japan, one of the world’s biggest Ship Owners.
In 1999, MMM established its Quality Management System (QMS).
In 2000, MMM was certified by Class NK for Quality Crew Management Service, achieving ISO 9002:1994, the first in the Philippine manning landscape.
MMM received the POEA Top Performer Award in 2000.
In 2002, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Maritime Philippines, Inc. (MOLMAP) merged with MMM, increasing the number of manned vessels from 72 in 2001 to 115 in 2002.
MMM received the POEA Top Performer Award in 2002.
MMM received the POEA Top Performer Award in 2005.
MMM received the POEA Citation Award for Exemplary Welfare Program in Human Resources and Development, and as Awardee of Excellence in 2009.
MMM achieved a higher level of ISO accreditation by Class NK for ISO 9001:2015 certification and for MLC 2006 certification.
