イギリスヤクルト販売株式会社

Back in 1935, Yakult bottles were made of glass, filled by hand, and topped with a cork stopper.

In 1963, Dr Shirota set up the pioneering Yakult Ladies scheme – providing both unique employment opportunities for women and a daily door-to-door delivery network for our little bottles.

The iconic Yakult bottle hasn’t changed much since it was first developed in 1968 by award-winning designer, Isamu Kenmochi.

As of 2020, they visit over 37,000 older people living alone in Japan and even participate in crime prevention watches in cooperation with local police and government departments – helping ensure communities are safe and secure.
