1993-07-01 1993年7月1日に社団法人化するにいたり、案内用図記号の開発、音サインの調査研究など様々なサインデザインに関わる活動を展開してきました。
2008-12-01 2008年12月1日の新公益法人制度施行にともない、
2011-10 2011年10月公益社団法人認定に向けた申請をおこない、
2012-03-21 2012年3月21日認定、
2012-04-01 2012年4月1日登記となりました。
