1952-03-28 昭和27年（1952年）に個人商店を株式会社に変更するとともに、日新製糖株式会社の特約店となる。
1967 昭和42年（1967年）業務拡大にともない営業場所を鞘町より、現代の高崎市問屋町二丁目8番地の8に移転。
1989 昭和63年（1989年）日新カップ株式会社に営業権を委譲（日新製糖グループに加わる）。
1996 平成8年（1996年）株式会社小板橋商店から株式会社小板橋に商号を変更する。
2015 平成27年（2015年）親会社の合併に伴い、日新製糖株式会社の子会社となり、甘味料を中心とした業務用食品総合卸商社となる。
2024 令和6年（2024年）日新製糖株式会社が商号を「ウェルネオシュガー株式会社」に変更し、その子会社となる。
