1947年。現在の加茂繊維は「角野商店」として、その産声をあげました。最初の事業は山林を活かした炭焼き。その後、時代の流れやお客様の要望に合わせて植林や造林を主体とする林業へと進化し、「角野林業」の創業へと紡がれていきます。 |

1998年に自社ブランド事業を開始。海外有名デザイナー20名を集め、Tシャツブランドを展開しました。結果、大手百貨店が全店展開、海外セレクトショップ等、一定の成果を上げると同時に、常に流行に左右されるアパレルのファッション事業の難しさを痛感。 |

2000年。独自素材を開発できればと天然鉱石ブラックシリカに出会い素材開発に着手。当初は大手アパレルメーカーに開発を打診するも市場性がないと断られましたが、断念できず大手アパレルメーカーの研究者に相談。実験したところ思いもよらぬデータが取得でき、大手紡績メーカーの研究課題として試作を依頼。4年間の試作を経て独自素材「BSファイン」が誕生。その後、岡山県、国の認定企業となり、生地素材の開発や商品企画、販売方法を模索し“着る岩盤浴”BSファインとして独自素材をベースにした機能素材ブランドの展開がスタート。 |
