1942 1942年、広島県が主導する形で安芸津町に造船所の誘致が決定。（実質は海軍艦政本部と三井造船による。） 翌年5月、三津榊山地先から風早地区に向けての公有水面22万4600坪を埋め立てる計画で起工。 社名：三井造船株式会社安芸津造船所（通称第8129工場）
