History
Brunei LNG was established in December 1969 following the 1963 discovery of the Ampa gas field, becoming the Western Pacific's first LNG plant when it officially opened on 4 April 1973.
Brunei LNG commenced operations with its first LNG shipment to Japan in 1972 aboard the SS Gadinia.
