History
Onatel was created in 1987 following the split of the Posts and Telecommunications Office, becoming a state-owned company in 1994. Maroc Telecom acquired a majority stake beginning in 2006, and the company launched the Moov Africa Burkina brand for its commercial activities on 1 January 2021.
