Based 7 miles off the coast of Nigeria, FPSO Armada Perkasa achieved the production /offloading of 2 million barrels of oil on 14 February 2009.
FPSO Armada Perkasa achieves 365 days of operation with no Lost Time Incidents (LTI) on 20 March 2009. There was no downtime in operation
A few weeks earlier on 16 July, the company’s first FPSO, the Armada Perkasa which is also working offshore Nigeria, celebrated 1,000 days without a LTI.
On 21 August, Bumi Armada’s third FPSO Armada TGT 1 which is working offshore Vietnam, achieved one year without a Lost Time Incident (LTI).
This was quickly followed a day later by Armada Perdana’s achievement of the exact same milestone. Armada Perdana is operating in the Oyo field, 70km offshore Nigeria.
