History
Established as a furniture and electronics mass retailer by Humberto Garza González. In October 2020, the company closed its financial subsidiary and filed for bankruptcy protection due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. After debt restructuring in February 2022, it temporarily resumed operations but closed all stores in Mexico by March 31, 2023. Only 21 branches of the personal loan business (Famsa Loans/Financial) in Texas, USA, continue to operate.
