History
FSM Petroleum Corporation established under Public Law 15-08 to stabilize fuel prices and acquire Mobil Oil Micronesia's assets.
Under the "Coconut Tree Act" (Public Law 18-68), the Coconut Development Authority was dissolved and its responsibilities transferred to FSMPC.
The "Transformation Act" (Public Law 22-171) required the company to expand into renewable energy and rename itself, becoming "The Vital Group".
