History
Established as West African Portland Cement (WAPCO), renamed Lafarge Africa Plc in July 2014. In December 2024, Holcim sold its 83.81% stake to China Huaxin Cement, and at the shareholders' meeting on April 30, 2026, renamed to HBM Nigeria Plc (Huaxin Building Materials), with the ticker change from WAPCO to HBMNG in July of the same year.
