History
Electro Sur Este S.A.A. was incorporated on April 27, 1984 by public deed before notary Hermilio Cáceres Vilca, based on Ministerial Resolution No. 318-83-EM/DGE dated December 21, 1983 and the General Electricity Law No. 23406, together with its regulation D.S. 031-82-EM/V.
Starting in 1992, with the promulgation of Decree Law No. 25844 'Electric Concessions Law' and its Regulation D.S. No. 009-93-EM, and after the repeal of the previously mentioned provisions, the process of structural and functional transformation of the electric subsector began.
In 1994, another split occurred, giving rise to the formation of a new company based on the Sub-Regional Management Puno, the Regional Public Electricity Service Company 'Electro Puno S.A.A.'
This company began operating legally from November 1, 1999.
The organizational structure was approved in Board Session No. 711 on July 31, 2014
