History
In 1984, partnered with Cummins, the world's largest professional heavy-duty diesel engine manufacturer, to represent its products, strengthening the import business of power equipment.
In 1989, built a new LCD plant in Kaohsiung, engaged in research, design, manufacturing, and sales of LCD modules.
Solomon Co., Ltd. was established in 1990 as Taiwan's first professional distributor of European, American, and Japanese electronic components, opening the market; it is now a publicly listed company and ranks among the top 200 technology enterprises nationwide.
In 1994, Solomon's Nankang Building was completed and inaugurated, and it invested in the establishment of Taichung Memory Technology Co., Ltd. (memory design).
In 1995, besides investing in the establishment of Lianme Technology Co., Ltd. (semiconductor packaging and testing), it also established a battery module division, collaborating with TOSHIBA technology to manufacture nickel–hydrogen and lithium battery modules.
On December 19, 1996, Solomon's stock was listed.
In 1998, the Smart Card Division, Wireless Communication Division, and Photonic Automation Division each became independent companies: Sanmen Technology, Xingmen Technology, and Longmen Technology, respectively.
In 1999, the Solomon Group was officially established, acquiring Hong Kong Qingsheng Co., Ltd., marking the expansion into overseas and mainland markets; founded Jingmen Technology Co., Ltd. (design and development of LCD drivers); and founded Gongmen Technology Co., Ltd. (design of SIM card ICs).
In 2000, Solomon acquired a stake in Fuxiang Technology Co., Ltd. to strengthen LCD panel supply.
In April 2001, moved into the Neihu Building office and successfully launched the Oracle ERP system, laying the foundation for the digital backbone.
From 2002 to 2003, established the System Software Division, Yumen International Trade (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Solomon Trade (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., respectively.
In 2009, Solomon acquired Davi Light Electronics, expanding products from LCD and LCM to niche EMS products, achieving vertical integration synergy with Fuxiang.
In 2009, also became the authorized Taiwan distributor for Rockwell Automation, and simultaneously announced the establishment of the Automation Division.
In 2010, established the Gas Power Generation Division, representing and selling the world's largest gas power generators (GE Jenbacher, USA), and providing comprehensive integrated system design, engineering, and maintenance services.
In 2013, besides partnering with generator manufacturer Generac, we enhanced our generator product line and established a transmission division to integrate the full range of SMC air compressor products, machine vision Vision, robotic arm Robot, and transmission Motion product lines for agency sales.
