Obori Electric Construction Co., Ltd.

Founded by the first president, Yuu Obori, as a sole proprietorship. Started as Kyori Kogyo Co., focusing on indoor wiring work and engaging in construction projects in the Tsukuba City area.

Founded: Showa 22 April.

Following the merger of Tokyo Electric Power Co., Inc.'s Tsukuba branch with the Tsuchiura sales office, the construction scope expanded to the southern and western regions of the prefecture. The company was renamed Obori Electric Construction Shop (representative Kenji Obori) and advanced its operations.

With the expansion of the Tokyo Hakari Industrial Cooperative Ibaraki Factory Complex (Takamichi, Shimotsuma City), and taking the opportunity of an order from Shirai Construction Co., Ltd. (Chiba Prefecture) completed in 1969, the company transformed into a specialty large-scale construction shop (Electrical Construction Shop).

Partnered with Kandenko Co., Ltd. and Okano Electric Construction Co., Ltd., acquiring the organization, functions, and advanced technology of a large construction company. The company grew rapidly through its own sales activities and the high economic growth.

Reorganized and renamed the company Obori Electric Construction Co., Ltd.

Company established: March Showa 48.

Representative Kenji Obori appointed. Recently, especially with many large-scale projects from government agencies, the company has advanced CAD and OA automation, striving together with employees under the motto of technology and trust.

New headquarters completed.

ISO 9001 certification obtained.

Obori Electric Construction Co., Ltd. President and CEO Obori Company appointed.
