Antex Corporation

(August 1917) : Founded Ando Iron Works in Chitose-cho, Fukagawa, Koto-ku by former Chairman Ando Kumagoro, with the purpose of manufacturing and selling forged products.

(March 1941) : Established the general partnership Ando Iron Works.

(May 1965) : Started full operation of the newly established in-house developed "Ring Rolling Mill."

(October 1980) : Completion of Phase 1 of the Takahagi plant; simultaneously closed the Haneda plant and transferred the production department entirely. This enabled the Takahagi plant to commence operations in forging, rolling, and heat‑treating of materials.

(March 1990) : Commenced full-scale production of finished rotary bearings.

(September 1992) : Renamed to Antex Co., Ltd.

(April 1994) : Established a fully automated ring forging heat‑treating line and began full operation.

(October 1999) : Obtained ISO 9001 certification from Lloyd Register QA (Takahagi plant).

(June 2004) : Established Antecks (Shanghai) Precision Parts Co., Ltd.

(February 2006) : Obtained ISO 14001 certification from Lloyd Register QA (Takahagi plant).

(November 2007) : Completion of Takahagi Plant 2. New automated cell for medium‑size rotary rings introduced.

(September 2010) : Completion of Takahagi Plant 3. Established a fully automated ring forging heat‑treating line. Supplies materials to Plant 2.

(August 2012) : Obtained ISO 9001 certification from Lloyd Register QA (Shanghai plant).

(August 2017) : 100th anniversary of founding

(July 2021) : Certification obtained from ISO45001 Lloyd Register QA. (Takahagi Factory)
