Due to a library inspection, the library will be closed from Monday, November 16 to Friday, November 20. From Monday, November 2 to Saturday, November 14, the loan period for books will be extended from the usual two weeks to three weeks. During the closure, please use the return box located next to the entrance of the Central Labor Center for returns (not available on Sunday, November 8).
From October 1, loan extensions will be available for up to two weeks, once, only before the return deadline. Please bring the books to the reception counter within the loan period or use the return box. If you have books past the return deadline, new loans cannot be made.
The loaned book ranking for the April–June 2026 period has been updated. If the desired book is currently checked out, you can reserve it at the library counter, on the in‑library computer search system, or via the reservation form on the website. New releases and the latest news are also announced on X (Twitter) and Facebook.
The 8th fiscal year of Reiwa "Used Book Recycling Fair" will be held on Saturday, August 22 and Monday, August 24 from 10:00 to 17:00. Approximately 250 books, including novels, skill development books, and magazines that have been removed from the collection, will be donated, with a maximum of 10 books per person per day. A library card is required for use, and the registration target is residents, employees, and students in Hyogo Prefecture. The library will be closed for lunch from 13:00 to 14:00.
On August 22, 2026 (Saturday) and August 24, 2026 (Monday) from 10:00 to 17:00, we will hold a used book recycling fair. Approximately 250 books, including novels, skill development books, and magazines that have finished their shelf life, will be donated, and each person can use up to 10 books per day. A library card is required for participation, and the registration target is residents, employees, and students in Hyogo Prefecture.

We have installed a feature corner in the back right of the library that collects award-winning works from the "Readers' Choice Business Book Grand Prix 2026" and top titles from the "2025 Annual Best Sellers" compiled by Japanese publishing and sales companies. Visitors can view past award winners and best sellers, and reservations are also accepted.

We have permanently opened the "Koizumi Yakumo Corner" in the lobby of the Central Labor Center and within the Hyogo Labor Library. We display materials related to Yakumo, and books and materials in the library can also be borrowed.
