In 1999, 95% of the company’s shares were acquired by JGC Corporation (Japan) while the remaining 5% were acquired by Marubeni Corporation, which made JGC Philippines the leading EPC company in the country. |

The company will take on the new role of Asia-Pacific regional headquarters and serve as a base for project execution in Singapore and nearby countries. By supporting the sales and project execution of Group companies in the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia, JGC ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. will coordinate operations across those companies, as the JGC Group seeks optimized growth across all of its companies. |
