1885 広瀬町（現在の広島市中区榎町）に牧場を開き、合資会社として牛乳事業開始。
1902 衛生への取組み。馬車に蒸気缶を積み、白衣を着て飲用者の前で殺菌消毒しながら配達した。
1917 業界に先駆けヨーグルトを発売。日本初のヨーグルト誕生。
1930 「株式会社チチヤス」設立。広島市内に販売会社をつくる。
1937 日本で初めて「特別牛乳」の製造許可を受ける。
1954 チチヤスヨーグルト再発売
1959 「チチヤス乳業株式会社」設立（資本金500万円）
1966 国内初のヨーグルト用プラスチック容器。厚生省指導のもと、プラスチックの例外容器使用許可を受ける(第657号)。
1970 新工場にてプラスチック容器の製造を開始
2002 「チチヤス乳業株式会社」と「株式会社チチヤス」を合併。新「チチヤス乳業株式会社」設立。
2005 「チチヤス乳業株式会社」から「チチヤス株式会社」に社名変更
2011 「チチヤス株式会社」が伊藤園グループに
2016 関東に協力工場を新設
2017 ヨーグルト発売100年を記念し、アンテナショップ「CHICHI YASU」を広島市にオープン
