The entrance market for EMEA became larger and larger, requiring its own headquarters. In 2008 OPTEX Technologies HQ opened and served the EMEA market ever since, expanding from residential and commercial applications to industrial sensors and vehicle detection. |

OPTEX developed laser technology for security applications and brought the innovative LiDARs REDSCAN RLS-3060 to the market. |

OPTEX expands its product portfolio into fibre optics perimeter solutions. Fiber Sensys has been a leading manufacturer of perimeter security solutions since its inception, with global installations of over six-million meters of fiber and the sale of more than fifteen-thousand alarm processor units (APUs). |

It detects the presence of a person or object in the threshold and prevents the door from closing as long as the detection zone isn't cleared.
