April 1962: Established Fukui Resin Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. with the aim of producing polyester decorative panels.
January 1970: Name changed to Fukubi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.
February 1971: Established Fukui Mikata Plastic Industry Co., Ltd. in Misato, Fukui Prefecture, and transferred soft tile production facilities to the company.
May 1972: Began importing and selling long-length flooring from the U.S. company Congo Lume under the product name 'Fukubi Lume'.
昭和48年10月 : 年商100億円突破。
September 1974: Commenced domestic production of long-length flooring 'Fukubi Lume'.
December 1974: Entered into a technology partnership with U.S. company Panelford regarding folding doors.
January 1970: Name changed to Fukubi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.
April 2004: Absorbed merger with Fukui Mikata Industrial Co., Ltd.
March 2009: Listed shares on the Osaka Stock Exchange Second Section and Nagoya Stock Exchange Second Section.
April 2014: Opened East Kanto branch office and upgraded the Okayama branch office to a branch office.
July 2016: Established FUKUVI THAILAND CO., LTD. as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fukubi. (The joint venture THAI FUKUVI CO., LTD. was dissolved in November 2014.)
April 2018: Absorbed merger with Rifojure Co., Ltd.
May 2019: Completed new factory of FUKUVI VIETNAM CO., LTD. in Dong Nai Province, Vietnam.
August 2022: Launched environmentally conscious product brand 'Fukuvalue (フクバリュー)※'.
March 2024: Certified as a 2024 Health Management Excellence Corporation (Large Enterprise Division).
