1955年（昭和30年） : 4月 : ロープウェイ建設案協議開始

Consultations over the ropeway construction begin.

1956年（昭和31年） : 10月 : 11月 : 御在所岳登山索道建設計画案作成 : 御在所登山索道株式会社設立

Planning draft for the construction of Mt. Gozaisho aerial tramway created. Gozaiho Mountain aerial tramway Inc. established.

1957年（昭和32年） : 5月 : 10月 : 御在所ロープウエイ株式会社と商号決定し設立登記 : 索道建設業者決定（日本ケーブル） : 建物建設業者決定（設計：東畑建築事務所　施工：竹中工務店）

商号はゴザイショロープウェイ株式会社と定められ、会社はその名で設立・登録されました。空中索道の建設契約は日本ケーブルに授与されました。建物の建設契約も授与されました。

1958年（昭和33年） : 4月 : 9月 : 起工式 : 社紋決定

Cornerstone-laying ceremony. Company Emblem finalized.

1959年（昭和34年） : 3月 : 4月 : 8月 : 本社移転（津市中央１番１号より三重県三重郡菰野町菰野８６２５番地へ） : 竣工式・営業開始［三線自動循環式（1支索2曳索）］ : ユースホステル開設

本社は、津市中央1-1から三重県三重郡小見町8625へ移転しました。

1960年（昭和35年） : 2月 : 2月 : 御在所スキー場開設 : 観光リフト運転開始

Gozaisho Ski Resort established. Sightseeing lift starts operating.

1961年（昭和36年） : 3月 : 各支柱に風速計設置

Anemometer installed to each supporting tower.

1962年（昭和37年） : 2月 : 6月 : 日本カモシカセンター開設 : 山上ホテル開設

Nihon Kamoshika (Japanese Serow) Center opened. Sanjou (Summit) Hotel opened.

1963年（昭和38年） : 3月 : 御在所岳気象観測を開始

Weather observation begins at Mt. Gozaisho.

1964年（昭和39年） : 6月 : 10月 : 御嶽大権現神殿竣工 : ６号支柱塗替工事（現在の白色に）

Construction of the Ontake Daigongen Shrine completed. 6th Supporting Tower repainted white.

1972年（昭和47年） : 2月 : ロープウェイ搭乗客数　1,000万人突破

Ropeway breaks the 10,000,000th passenger mark.

1973年（昭和48年） : 12月 : 案内係廃止

Ropeway attendant system discontinued.

1974年（昭和49年） : 12月 : 強風対策のため支柱改造 : (5号支柱撤去)

Supporting towers reinforced against strong winds. (5th Supporting Tower removed)

1977年（昭和52年） : 10月 : 線路監視テレビカメラ設置

TV camera installed for track surveillance.

1981年（昭和56年） : 12月 : 強風対策のため支柱改造 : (2号支柱 16m→14m , 3号支柱 11m→6.5m , 4号支柱撤去ほか)

Supporting towers reinforced against strong winds. (2nd Tower: 16m→14m, 3rd: 11m→6.5m, 4th removed.)

1982年（昭和57年） : 11月 : 御在所スキー場　スノーマシン導入

Snow machine introduced at Gozaisho Ski Resort.

1983年（昭和58年） : 7月 : 11月 : 山麓おみやげコーナー開設 : 御在所スキー場　スノーガン導入

Gift Corner opened at the base. Snow gun introduced in Gozaisho Ski Resort.

1984年（昭和59年） : 6月 : 雨量レーダー完成（建設省）

Rainfall observation radar completed. (Construction Ministry)

1985年（昭和60年） : 2月 : ロープウェイ搭乗客数　2,000万人突破

Ropeway breaks the 20,000,000th passenger mark.

1986年（昭和61年） : 12月 : 第二リフト（スキーリフト）運転開始

Second lift (ski lift) starts operating.

1988年（昭和63年） : 7月 : 輸送力増強 [スピードアップ] のための設備更新 : (1支索2曳索→1支索1曳索：曳索本数を2本から1本に減少)

Equipment renewed to increase transportation capacity (speed up). Two carrying ropes and one hauling rope → one carrying rope and one hauling rope.

1989年（平成元年） : 7月 : スイスＣＷＡ社製　新ゴンドラ３６両導入

New gondola made by CWA in Switzerland introduced.

1991年（平成 3年） : 1月 : 7月 : ユースホステル閉鎖 : 山上ホテル閉鎖、レストランアゼリア営業開始

Youth Hostel closed. Sanjou (Summit) Hotel closed. Restaurant Azalea starts operating.

1998年（平成10年） : 8月 : ロープウェイ搭乗客数　3,000万人突破

Ropeway breaks the 30,000,000th passenger mark.

2006年（平成18年） : 11月 : 日本カモシカセンター閉鎖 : ＮＰＯ法人により「ございしょ自然学校」として運営開始

Nihon Kamoshika (Japanese Serow) Center closed. NPO “Gozaisho Nature School” takes over the center.

2009年（平成21年） : 4月 : 開通５０周年を迎える

Gozaisho Ropeway marks 50th anniversary of commencement of operations.

2013年（平成25年） : 7月 : 開通５５周年記念　ロープウェイカード発行

Ropeway cards issued to commemorate the 55th anniversary of commencement of operations.

2014年（平成26年） : 7月 : 中部８社のロープウェイ　ロープウェイスタンプカード発行

Eight Ropeway companies in the Chubu Region have issued a ropeway stamp card.

2016年（平成28年） : 8月 : ロープウェイ搭乗客数　4,000万人突破

Ropeway breaks the 40,000,000th passenger mark.
