The Industrial Environmental Management Association, a general incorporated association, established the "Clean Ocean Material Alliance (provisional name)" with the aim of solving the marine plastic waste problem and has begun recruiting participating companies. The alliance will serve as a practical foundation to accelerate innovation through matching of material suppliers and users, information sharing, technology exchange with research institutions, and international cooperation.
