The origin of Glory dates back to approximately 100 years ago, to 1918, when Kokuei Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was founded in present-day Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture. At that time, electric lighting was beginning to spread in ordinary Japanese households, and Kokuei Machinery Manufacturing started as a factory repairing manufacturing equipment for light bulbs, which was expanding in production. |
